Construction
This is a beginner friendly pattern, the techniques needed here are double crochet stitches between the gaps of each stitch instead of the normal inserting the hook on top of each stitch
The panels have no shaping. The only shaping is on the sleeves and there are photo tutorials to help you through if you need it. This is a size inclusive pattern which comes in 9 different sizes XS-5XL. It is bottom up pattern for both the panels and sleeves.
This sweater is breathable and warm enough for breezy days. Here in YYC, wind can pick up fast from 16 degrees Celsius, all of sudden feels like 9 degrees. This pattern is great for days like that. We also are close to beautiful mountains that are chilly the higher you go up.
This tan colour is trending everywhere which makes is easy to pair it with anything In your wardrobe.
Yarn
The yarn used for this design is one of my favourite from Lionbrand called Truboo. Check out the shimmer and drape from this yarn were my main attractions. It is soft to against the skin and stretchy. It is warm enough without feeling heavy when you wear the garment. There are lots of Color Options from neutrals to Bright colors.
I would be interested in seeing this sweater with Swish DK or Gloss DK from We Crochet.
Depending on the yarn you pick, Blocking the sweater makes a big difference.Truboo yarn expands a lot.I did not take pictures before blocking but my sweater grew a lot. The sleeves came out too long after, so bear in mind on your blocking method.I Used wet blocking.
Testers for this pattern went with different colors and I am in love with all of them. Most of them Use Truboo but other used yarn such as…..

Sides and Sleeves
Fold the sweater at the shoulders and align rows, Use the long tail and seam the sleeves from the cuff towards the armpit and continue to the side of the sweater. Repeat for the second sleeve and side. Note: It you do not have enough long tail, attach new yarn and seam the sides
