Do you have love hate relationship with beanies? Headbands are your answer. Let’s be honest, no matter how much you try, some days are too cold to walk out without any covering, so let me help you keep warm with a headband which is stylish and stylish
ABOUT
This ear warmer screams Halloween and pumpkin spice everything, but also warmth and coziness. As much as I see all sorts of pumpkin spice teas, lattes, I am sorry to say that I am not a big fan. Do not get me wrong, I do not have anything against the drinks, I gave them a try and it just not for me.
In the meantime, my winter treat is this cozy headband. It is full of texture, tease of ripples that imitates the coffee or tea decoration you get with your order which disappears with the first sip, this headband pattern however will keep you warm when fall and winter air gets nippy and make you feel cute all at the same time.
Ear warmers are a simple way or another option of keeping you warm while you do not want to wear a full on winter beanie. You just slide it on and still keep your curls out and allow heat to escape if you run hot.
For this particular pattern, I used worsted weight yarn but you can basically use any weight yarn you have. I have YouTube tutorial using bulky weight yarn, check it out.The fun part about this pattern is that, you can make it flat, which means you can try it n as you make it, you can also customize it to the width of your choice. It is written as one adult size but can be made for any size head.

I chose mustard colour because… well it is lovely, cute, it reminds me of fall and the colour pop and eye catching so it is fitting to go with it. For this particular post I chose super bulky weight yarn which means you can whip it under an hour. There are so many colour to choose from on this Lionbrand line.
You can however make it with any yarn weight you have or like. Check out the difference with the pictures below. The top one used bulky weight yarn and the bottom one is a worsted weight yarn, I do not know which one I like better. It is also easy to make for adults and kids because you can try it on as you make it.
It makes a great quick gift for someone who appreciate handmade item or a maker who sell at markets.
The pattern below uses worsted weight yarn, which shows how versatile the pattern is. Because it is easy to try on as you make it, you can make it with any weight yarn. All you need is to use the corresponding recommended hook for whatever yarn weight you use.
