Ellie Crochet beanie, Free crochet Hat Pattern

Ellie beanie has been taking up space on my computer for more than 2 years. Don’t ask me why but I figured it is time I shared it with everyone. I had to make a new swatch because my tension has obviously changed and needed to give you the right gauge so that you end up with a perfect fitting hat. It features a beautiful half herringbone in the round stitch looks different because it is worked in the round. This is the first beanie I made and I still wear it today.

The instructions come in 4 different sizes and it is unisex. This pattern is perfect for Christmas gift, since everyone from baby to dad can wear it. This beanie is quick and simple, once you get the stitch, you can be done in one sitting, with only one ball of yarn. The picture below is for the beanies I made for my family,

I love designing beanies, check out, Angela beanie, or family beanie, there is a variety of them with different weight yarns too. I love wearing them because it feels like effortless hug on your head while keeping yourself warm.

Temperatures here can go as low as -35 degrees celsius and this beanie would be solution to that kind of problem for you.

Yarn

For this pattern, I used Hue and Me by Lionbrand in Collaboration with Two of Wands. It is a wool blend which makes is warm. It has so many colours to choose from.
