This pattern is a total beginner friendly. It is made bottom up with no shaping. I like the oversized version because it is like a big warm hug around the body. The belt is there to tie and keep the cardi in place and add a statement.

DIYs are trending these days, and Glam Cardi is here to promote from making a simple scarf to a stylish cardigan. The pattern is made from rectangles seamed together and you become stylish. I would not be surprised if you got a compliment while you are working about, I have.!!

The pattern is made with chunky weight yarn and is widely available at a reasonable price. All you need is to pick your five favourite colours and turn them into a beautiful garment.

Yarn

I chose this yarn because the colours are amazing and I am getting close to finish the collection using this stitch. I used Hue and Me by Lionbrand. The stitch has an amazing texture and it is all from single crochet stitch. The only difference is where you insert the hook.
