Anyway, I am happy to share this spring, summer, early fall top pattern with you. Paula top pattern has an easy construction with identical panels, with more than two inches of positive ease. but you can modify it and make it with no ease, just go a size down and you are good to go.You can also make it shorter is you wanted a crop top but omitting some rows before working on the sleeves
About
When I first came up with idea for this top, it was sleeveless and then It did not seem complete, so I added sleeves which turned into a tee.
The whole idea was to create a piece that is effortless, yet pretty and stylish. Over size tops are trending these days and I wanted in on it, because let’s be real, they can be comfortable can be styled in different ways. It is a one row repeat and you do not have to keep checking for the next instructions until you reach sleeve part.
I wanted a versatile, effortless and light design which can be worn for office with heels
or out running errands in boyfriend jeans or shorts and sneakers and you still look amazing.

NOTES
● Pattern is written in standard US terms.
● Sizes are XS, S, {M, L, XL,} (2XL, 3XL) [4XL, 5XL].
● There is no wrong or right side on the pattern.
● Ch 3 counts as dc throughout, therefore, must work stitch into it.
● Make 2 panels, seam them together then sc around the sleeves and the bottom.
● The pattern is made to fit with approximately 2”/5 cm of positive ease. If you are in between sizes, or want zero ease, size down.
● I used Mattress stitch for seaming but you are welcome to use what you are comfortable with.
The pattern in the pictures is size medium.It is made to fit bust of 38 inches or 96cm.The finished length for the top is 23inches or 58cm . The armhole is 7.5inches or 19cm. The total yardage 1126yards or 1030m
SPECIAL STITCH
To make crossed dc, insert the hook into the gap between the stitches throughout.
PATTERN
Fndsc 80, 90, (100, 110, 120,) {130, 140,} [150, 160.]
Row 1: ch 3, sk second ch, dc in the third ch, go back to skipped dc between the first dc and ch 3.
*Sk the next st, dc in the next st, dc in the skipped st. Repeat to the last st, dc in the last st. Ch 3 and turn.
Row 2: sk the first st, dc in the gap between the second and third sts from previous row. Go back dc between first and ch 3 from the previous row. * Sk the next st, dc between the gap, dc to the skipped st. Repeat to the last st, dc in the last st. Ch 3 and turn.
Row 3: sk the first st, dc in the gap, go back and dc in the gap of the skipped sts. Repeat to the last st, dc in the last. Ch 3 and turn.
Rows 4-35, 38, (39,41,42,) {43,43,} [44, 44]. Repeat row 3, continue and fndsc 21. Ch 3 and turn.
Note: fndsc 21 marks the beginning of a first sleeve.
Sleeves
Row 36, 38, (40, 42,43,) {44, 44} [45,45] .sk the first st, dc in to the gap, go back and dc in the gap of skipped sts. This is the first row for sleeve one until the end of the panel.
With new yarn, fndsc 21 separately, leave a long tail, cut the yarn and use it and seam on the other end of the panel. (part1) With the active yarn, sk the first st, dc in the next gap, go back and dc into the skipped ch. (part2).
Row 37, 39, (41, 43, 44,) {45, 45,} [ 46, 46]: ch 3, sk the first st, dc in the gap between the second and third sts from previous row. Go back dc between first and ch 3 from the previous row. *Sk the next st, dc between the gap, dc to the skipped st. repeat to the last st, dc in the last st. Ch 3 and turn.
Rows 38, 40, (41, 44, 46,) {46, 47,} [47, 47]- 52, 55, (58, 60, 63,) {65, 65,} [ 68, 68]: Repeat row 37. Do not fasten off.
Neck shaping
Note: Count stitches from the sleeves toward the middle of the panel. If you want a wide opening, decrease the number of stitches towards the middle using numbers below.
Count 41, 46, (51, 56, 58,) {64, 68,} [ 73, 78] stitches from the sleeve towards the middle, put a stitch marker. Do the same on the other side.
Row 53,56, (59,61,64,) {66,66,} [69, 69]: dc in each stitch until you reach the stitch marker, single crochet in each st until you reach the stitch marker on the other side and dc in each stitch until end of row. Leave a long tail to seam later. Cut yarn and fasten off.
MAKE ANOTHER PANEL.
Assembly
Put the panels together, have long tails on opposite sides for the shoulders. Cut 50” separate yarn to use for the sides. Use stitch markers if necessary to hold the top together. Seam the sides and the shoulder area using the preferred method. Weave in all the ends, cut any loose ends.

Starting at the bottom of the sleeve join new yarn and work, sc evenly around the first sleeve. Join with slip stitch on the first st. Cut yarn and fasten off.
Repeat on the other side.
Bottom
Starting on the side of the panel, join new yarn and sc evenly around. Join with slip stitch on the first st. Cut yarn and fasten off.
FINISHING
Block your top to the measurements.
